Valentina is a contemporary dance artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. She is interested in designing spaces that dance and movement can exist within and further how the body moves through these constructed states or environments. Valentina has worked with artists such as Lucy Guerin, Gregory Lorenzutti, Daniel Riley, Brianna Kell, Judith Sanchez Ruiz, Tim Podesta and Kim Vincs. In 2021, Valentina had the pleasure of performing ‘Moon in Aries’ by Hamish McIntosh in response to Jeff Koons’ Venus statue for the National Gallery of Victoria’s Triennial Extra Festival. Valentina is a 2022 graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.
